Our experienced and highly trained technicians specialise in: servicing, repairs and MOT preparation to all makes & types of commercial vehicles. Approved Tachograph Centre

Tachographs today have become a very necessary tool for all of the transport industry. Its introduction has contributed greatly to road safety. First introduced as a compulsory piece of equipment by the EU in the 1980’s the tachograph is an instrument that records speed, distance and time onto a wax coated paper chart. Used on a daily basis it creates a continuous permanent record of both the driver’s activity and vehicles use.

Ashbrooks is an approved tachograph centre. We supply, fit, maintain and repair tachographs to a wide range of light and heavy commercial vehicles. We employ fully qualified tachograph technicians who can carry out work on any make of vehicle or tachograph. We install and maintain both analogue and digital tachographs.

Speed Limiters

In the UK, all vehicles over 7.5 tonnes must have speed control limiters installed. Ashbrooks install highly advanced speed limiters, which allow the driver to maintain control of a vehicle’s maximum speed and in turn reduce cost in regard to fuel and maintenance.

Repair and Maintenance

Ashbrooks undertake service and repair work and offer competitively priced maintenance contracts on a variety of commercial vehicles. We provide all types of repair and maintenance work on vans and trucks. We provide specialist maintenance and repair services with regard to engines, transmissions, steering and braking systems. Our cutting edge diagnostic equipment helps to identify faults at the outset, reducing costs and improving the efficiency of our service.
